Electrodessication

Removal is performed via Skin Sheek by a trained Esthetician. This modality works by dehydrating the treated skin which then leads to the skin crusting, the irregularity falling off and the skin finishing its healing process. With appropriate after care there will be no scarring. Some clients will experience mild discomfort while others won’t feel a thing. Numbing cream is available to those who want it at no additional charge. Following the removal LED therapy will be used to promote healing. Contraindications for Electrodessication are pacemakers, uncontrolled diabetes, those with a compromised healing response, pregnancy, and current skin infections. 

Irregularities that can be removed: skin tags with a base smaller than a pencil eraser, visible capillaries, cherry angiomas, sun spots, warts, seborrheic keratosis and sebaceous hyperplasia.

*Raised moles cannot be removed because they have a direct blood source.*
